Alex began his work in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Hospitality industry at the age of 16 as a pot washer and was promoted to the dishwasher, progressing to Chef at top fine dining establishments from Sarasota to Seattle.

In May of 2009, he was providing behind the scenes support for the Metropolitan Cooking Show featuring Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Tyler Florence and the Neelys when the head chef approached Chef Alex to substitute for another on-stage chef presenter. From there, Chef Alex knew he’d found his true calling, sharing his love of food with as many people as possible.

He currently is a Chef Presenter at well-known food venues across the Southeast as well as private corporate events for companies like Starbucks, GE, CocaCola, Balfour Beatty, Mission Pharmacal, New England Financial, Wood Partners, Barrow Company, and many more.
